i arrived here in ho-chi- mihn about 8:00 last night.
first time i took a taxi since i left. the fare was 300,0000 dongs.
vietnamese currency has too many zeros which makes me get
so confused to calculate. i hate it.
when i was a elementary school kids, i got my math grade 1 of 1-5.
i am very opposite of math genius.
anyway, most vietnamese don't speak english. i need to use 6th sense,
or my inspiration more.
accomodation in ho-chi-mihn is
281 pham ngu lao, district 1, hcmc
which is located in front of a park.
i woke up early so i'm gonna walk around near here.

when I was boy
lots of B52 flew over my village
almost everyday
all of them was heading to the Vietnam
to kill people
one day
I was working with mom in the sugarcane field
then B52 came
and
my mom threw the irara at the B52
without any word
I realized my moms scar

harubo san - it is very coincident to know that.
i went in an air ticket place, a very small place.
there were three young people working. two
of them are still students who would graduate
3 year school in july. i enjoyed chatting with
them while processing.
two things are
staying deep in my mind. one is that they are
learning tourism and one big concerning for
them is some people try to overcharge the
tourists.
and the second thing was the
answer to my question. i asked "do you, the
people have hatred at americans?"
the yougman said "no."
i have wanted to ask the question since i
heard one american, who traveled vietnam
said "people of vietnam like americans."
i have wondered if it was true, or the guy
made a story.
i also still remember my mom shed tears
when she visited me in the u.s. 2001.
she reminded of the days during world war 2.
mr. okuhira - i had french style sandwich this morning. it
was good.
i want to try pho, famous vietnamese noodle
in vietnam. i am a noodle lover.
i kept strong at the temptation of tiger beer
in malaysia. i am here by myself, so i won't
drink alcohol. hopefully.
